OcuVen™ is a premier vision and eye support formula which features two well researched eye support nutrients: natural-source lutein (from marigold flowers) at 10 mg/cap and natural-source zeaxanthin (from marigold flowers) at 2 mg/cap.* In addition, OcuVen™ features Eye Integrity Support Blend which contains a broad spectrum blend of high value, premier quality botanical agents for optimal nutritional support.*
Support your vision with Zeaxanthin and Lutein
The retina of the human eye is about the size of a postage stamp while the macula is only about the size of a pencil tip. The macula employs hundreds of millions of photoreceptor cells - cone cells produce color vision and rod cells produce black and white for night vision.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are the two key carotenoid pigments stored in the macula and may promote the integrity and density of the macular pigment through their antioxidant properties. Increased intake of these carotenoids maintain healthy photoreceptor function in the macula as well as supporting the health of the retina. The combination of Lutein and Zeaxanthin promote total retinal health, photoreceptor health, and overall support for the macula.*
Extra Zeaxanthin
We went the extra mile to ensure our super vision formula is extra rich in zeaxanthin (concentrated from pure marigold – not synthetic sources). Zeaxanthin is considered by some experts to be the strongest, most important antioxidant carotenoid found in the retina. Zeaxanthin cannot be made by the body, thus it must be supplemented as part of the diet. Our master formula contains 2,000 mcg per capsule for maximum support for macular health.*
Powerful Lutein – The Perfect 1-2 Punch!
We also included a whopping 10,000 mcg per capsule of natural-source Lutein, yet another key naturally-occurring carotenoid and is found in high concentration in the macula. Lutein is a powerful antioxidant which can fight free radicals and protect cells from oxidative stress. Together, supplementation of zeaxanthin and lutein carotenoids is associated with increased macular concentration and protect against oxidative damage.*
The most comprehensive antioxidant protection ever conceived
In addition to the science-backed foundation of Zeaxanthin and Lutein, this proprietary nutraceutical formula also features 350 mg of the botanical powerhouse, Eye Integrity Support Blend.* For the optimal nutritional effect, this comprehensive support blend delivers Organic Prickly Pear (cladode) (Opuntia ficus-indica), Organic Bilberry (fruit) (Vaccinium myrtillus), Organic Carrot (root) (Daucus carota), Organic Turmeric (rhizome) (Curcuma longa), Organic Spinach (leaf) (Spinacia oleracea), Organic Chlorella (whole; broken cell wall) (Chlorella sorokiniana), Organic Tomato (fruit).
Together, they supply a broad range of biocompatible botanical agents which offers a complex phytochemical profile for additional nutritional support.* Vision is one of your most precious gifts in life – promote the health of your eyes today with the most comprehensive antioxidant protection ever conceived – Premier Research Labs, OcuVen™.*
